As a home seller it is my job to look out for you. I’ve got your back! Here are some tips for you to have the best experience possible!
The first thing you should do is have an experienced Real Estate Representative come to your home to determine the value of the home at the time of the appointment.
Ask the representative to provide you with any recommendations to prepare for the sale. There may be minor repairs, painting, gardening, and other recommendations made.
Discuss the different types of representation available to you with your representative.
It is likely that your representative will recommend two agreements be signed. One agreement between you and the Brokerage pertaining to the period of time they require to prepare the home for sale. The second agreement will be the agreement pertaining to the actual listing of the property on the open market. Both will be signed at the same time. This confirms the commitment between both parties to work together along with finer details discussed and agreed to.
It is time to declutter and pre pack as much as possible.
A professional cleaning will need to take place prior to next steps.
Staging has become a standard expectation in the presentation of most homes today.
Next the photographer and floor plan measurer will require a few hours in the home.
After careful selection of the photographs marketing materials both printed and electronic will be worked on by the representatives marketing department.
The final moment has arrived! Your home will be listed on the MLS system for sale.
